When Tropi Yummy arrived in Barcelona, it came with a simple but powerful dream: to bring the authentic taste of tropical products to a city full of rhythm, diversity, and love for good food.
The client was clear about the product —mango biche, fruit salads, obleas and more— but lacked a defined brand. My challenge was to build an identity from scratch that would convey freshness, joy, and modern “Latinity,” avoiding clichés while ensuring coherence between the physical shop and the digital ecosystem.

Mango
Before designing, I immersed myself in the tropical universe to understand where to build the brand from:
- Market research: Analysis of local competition in Barcelona and street food trends.
- Target audience: Youth, families, and tourists looking for a healthy and exotic alternative.
- Tone of voice: Close, vibrant, and honest.
- The DNA: Tropi Yummy doesn’t just sell fruit; it sells a mood —a mini-trip to the tropics—.
Logo design
The Tropi Yummy logo had to convey freshness and diversity at first glance, prioritizing legibility and an unmistakably tropical character.
- Typography: Rounded, friendly fonts that convey closeness and softness.
- Movement: Subtle organic dynamism that evokes the fluidity of natural juices and Caribbean vitality.
- Color palette: Vibrant palette (mango, lime, papaya, and guava) that awakens the appetite and distinguishes the brand in the saturated urban environment.
- Organic forms: Curves that recall pulp, leaves, and the movement of water.
Menu and visual production
For the creation of the Tropi Yummy menu, I developed a fresh art direction where the product is the absolute protagonist. Faced with an initial lack of photographic material, I used Artificial Intelligence to generate high-fidelity visuals —keeping palette and realistic textures— so we could launch a complete menu even before the physical opening.
After the opening, I integrated real photography of the shop with an exhaustive post-production process (color correction, lighting, and background cleaning) so that real photos could coexist in harmony with those generated by AI.
Visual identity applied to Social Media
The identity was translated into the digital ecosystem with a coherent feed, where each post reinforces the tropical universe and maintains visual consistency between the physical shop and the screen.
Result
A hybrid, coherent, and professional aesthetic that allows Tropi Yummy to compete visually from day one, achieving impactful communication both at the point of sale and on digital platforms.
